Like his wavy bluish hair, he rests on a raging sea of transparent resin, recalling his status as a King and Master of Oceans, capable of engulfing any opponent! Behind him, partly submerged in water, we can see a fragment of the Main Breadwinner pillar of the Marina sanctuary of Poseidon. Then Poseidon held Kronos with his trident at bay while Zeus Kronos and the race of gods, the Titans, with its flashing, finally defeated. The Goddess of Wisdom and the God of the Sea, enemies since mythological times, have the same desire: to end this war and the existence of their adversary! The Olympic God wears his divine cloth in gold colors and multiple metallic reflections, whose copper and golden tones merge with those of his favorite weapon. After his birth, his father swallowed him, and Poseidon only his last born brother Zeus saved him and his other siblings, by freeing him. Poseidon's role in the war was to distract Kronos while Zeus. Zeus eventually freed his siblings and led a revolt against the tyranny of his father and the other Titans. Poseidon, like Zeus and Hades, is the son of the Titan Kronos and Rhea, and was unfortunately swallowed by his father when he was a baby. His gaze, as deep as the ocean’s blue, shimmers with fury as he throws his sacred trident at Saori, the reincarnation of Athena. Poseidon () is the God of the Ocean and one of the 12 Gods of Olympus.
Saint seiya poseidon series#
The series has three main parts or acts: Sanctuary Act (volumes 1 to 13), Poseidon Act (volumes 14 to 18), and Hades. This Ikigai statue shows Julian Solo, the host of Poseidon, going on the attack in the Poseidon arc. The original Saint Seiya manga was conceived, written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada and was published by Shueisha in the magazine Weekly Shnen Jump from January 1986 to December 1990 and collected in 28 tankbon volumes.
